Are You In Need of Home Repairs ?
 Members, friends, and visitors, please see the poster in the foyer regarding available home repair program. This is an ongoing program that has no deadline. Applications are available in the secretary’s office at Mt Anna. Completed forms should be returned to Mt. Anna to the attention of Yvonda Bean.
Annual Athletic Banquet
The Annual Athletic Banquet is scheduled for March 13, 2010 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. in Mt. Anna’s Family Life Center.

Greetings in the name of the One who holds time and eternity, Jesus Christ our Lord. God has deposited another year into the history of the Mount Anna Family, and for that we are truly grateful. We wish blessing and success to all in 2010. |

New Member Orientation will begins today March 7, 2010 from 9:30 - 10:30 am. All members, old and new, that have not been through orientation, are asked to attend. Manuals will be available in orientation. The class will last for six (6) weeks, one hour each Sunday. |

Mt. Anna's CDC Math & Reading Academy |
The Education Ministry is gearing up for the summer Math and Reading Academy. This year we plan to extend our weeks and hours. The date will be June 14-July 16, 2010, and the hours for the Math & Reading Academy will be from 8:00 am-1:00 pm with the extended care being from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. More information will be available at a later date. Don’t forget to encourage our youth to participate in the reading challenge. Each child that reads 10 books (or have them read to them), completes a reading log, and turns in a signed log to an Education Ministry member will receive a coupon for a FREE meal to Captain D’s. Additional reading logs are available in the secretary’s office.

This year’s National Baptist Congress of Christian Education Conference will be held in Houston, Texas from June 19 through June 26. There are a couple of different package deals available (see posting). If you are interested in attending, please see Barbara McCarty. |

Aiken’s “Pictorial History” Book Sale |
Mt. Anna has “Aiken’s Pictorial History Books” available for sale to all interested persons. These books show pictures of Aiken’s historic past and some of its residents. There is only a limited number of books, so once they are gone there will be no more. The cost of the books is $30 each. To purchase a book please see a Trustee.  |

Mt. Anna's Hour of Power
Each Wednesday night (from 5:45 - 6:45pm), as well as daily, let us pray that our inner spirits will be renewed, empowered, and transformed in Jesus Christ. The Intercessory Prayer Ministry is soliciting all members to pray and meditate daily on the scriptures below. There is victory in our prayers and praises!!!

A.C.T.S. FOOD REQUEST:
The Area Churches Together Serving Organization has asked each member church to be responsible for a different food items each month to feed needy families in our community. We are responsible for the following foods however, any nonperishable food item, as well as clothing and household good, would be greatly appreciated. March = Canned Fruit April = Jelly
ACTS “Male Underwear Project”
Men, you have been asked to assist the community through ACTS by purchasing men’s underwear (all Sizes are needed) to assist those persons in need. For more information please see Sis. Gladys Holmes.
